Unruly Heroes là một nền tảng 2D hành động được lấy cảm hứng từ cuốn tiểu thuyết nổi tiếng Trung Quốc “Journey to the West” còn được gọi là Truyền thuyết Vua khỉ.

Đảm nhận vai trò của một trong bốn anh hùng bất đắc dĩ, người chơi sẽ kiểm tra khí phách của mình trước những chướng ngại vật khó khăn và những thách thức không mong muốn, và đi bộ với một kẻ thù của một kẻ thù.

Lấy bối cảnh là những môi trường được minh họa rõ nét theo phong cách nghệ thuật vẽ tay, trò chơi cập nhật câu chuyện cổ điển đó để thực hiện một cuộc phiêu lưu sử thi mang nhiều màu sắc và nhẹ nhàng hơn so với bản gốc.

Chế độ câu chuyện đầy đủ có thể được chơi trong co-op cục bộ tối đa 4 người chơi. Bạn có thể quyết định chơi toàn bộ trò chơi chỉ với một nhân vật hoặc bạn có thể quyết định chuyển sang một nhân vật khác bất cứ lúc nào nếu bạn quyết định. Chơi trong coop sẽ khiến bạn khám phá một số kết hợp thú vị sẽ mang đến cho bạn những trải nghiệm mới

Tuy là game 2D nhưng Unruly Heroes cần tương đối nhiều não để chơi nhé :v

Cuộc phiêu lưu sẽ diễn ra trong bốn môi trường khác nhau, mỗi môi trường có bản sắc, kẻ thù và thách thức riêng với tên trùm chết người của nó để đánh bại. Mỗi thế giới sẽ có cấu trúc riêng về mặt nền tảng, chiến đấu và câu đố. Các anh hùng sẽ đi qua Canyon Crane, Thế giới ngầm, Đền Đạo giáo và thế giới Núi lửa. Người chơi sẽ phải đối mặt với rất nhiều kẻ thù môi trường bên cạnh những kẻ thù thông thường. Hơn nữa, người chơi sẽ có thể kiểm soát một số kẻ thù nhất định cho anh ta những bước di chuyển, kỹ năng và sức mạnh mới.
